- Delivery & billing details — the address you ask us to deliver to.
- Order information — what you bought, order history and correspondence with us.
- Payment information — your payment is processed by our secure third‑party payment gateway. We do not see or store your full card details.
- Marketing preferences — whether you've opted in to our emails.
- Technical & usage data — your device, browser, IP address and how you use our site, collected through cookies and similar tools.
How we collect it
- Directly from you — when you order, create an account, sign up to our list, or contact us.
- Automatically — through cookies and analytics when you browse the site.
- From our service providers — such as our payment gateway and courier, to complete your order.
Why we use it (and our lawful basis under POPIA)
- To process and deliver your orders and provide customer support (to carry out our contract with you).
- To keep you updated about your order.
- To send you marketing — only where you've given consent, and you can opt out any time.
- To meet legal and tax obligations.
- For our legitimate business interests — preventing fraud, keeping the site secure, and improving our products and service.
Who we share it with
We only share what's necessary, with trusted operators who process it on our behalf and are required to protect it:
- Shopify — the platform that runs our online store.
- Our payment gateway (for example Payfast or Yoco) — to process payments securely.
- The Courier Guy — to deliver your order.
- MailerLite — to send our emails, if you've subscribed.
- Analytics providers — to understand and improve how the site is used.
We do not sell your personal information.
Storage outside South Africa
Some of our providers (such as Shopify and MailerLite) may store data on servers outside South Africa. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is protected to a standard comparable to POPIA.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law (for example, tax and accounting records). When it's no longer needed, we delete or de‑identify it.
How we protect it
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to keep your information safe. No online service can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the Information Regulator if a breach affects your personal information, as the law requires.
Your rights under POPIA
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct or update information that's wrong or out of date.
- Delete your information, where we're not required to keep it.
- Object to processing, or withdraw your consent to marketing at any time.
- Complain to the Information Regulator.

Marketing emails
We only send marketing to people who've opted in. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out any time — it won't affect your orders.

Children
Our store isn't aimed at children under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
